Before Hog Roast Nottingham was one of many Spitting Pig franchises all across the UK, we were just a small team of individuals. Our founding team had circulated the event catering industry for a while but had never made a go of running a business for themselves. With their experience, they saw a gap in the market for a truly spectacular type of experience. One that offered customers the opportunity to enjoy a stylish novelty to match up to the specialness of their events.
A perfect fit to that gap: the hog roast. It had all we wanted from our dining service: style, spectacle, novelty, and capable of retaining quality even over large quantities. You cook one hog roast and that quality remains the same for one hundred guests as it does for even just ten.
With hog roasting we knew that we could provide a new type of experience for event – even if it is couched in centuries of history before us! The healthiness of the pig comes through in the final roast, as all that lovely fatty flavour comes through in each bite.
As they are locally sourced too, you will always be getting highly fresh meats. This also adds to the taste, and also just gives you the peace of mind that you are supporting local British industry. All of our ingredients come farm fresh and from top local stocks, so you will always be dining on the very best available.
